Best Friends Fresh Dog Food emerged from the passion of a devoted dog mom determined to provide her pup with the finest human-grade food available. Here in the Pacific Northwest, our canine companions are more than just pets; they are cherished family members and our best friends.

Remy entered our lives in October 2019 and quickly became our heart on legs. Much like many first time pet owners, we tested kibble options in search of a product that she would be willing to eat and digest well. In either case, we struggled. Day after day, her food bowl would go untouched.

Finally, it clicked.

If Remy was a part of our family, shouldn't she enjoy and benefit from the fresh cooked food we eat? After researching the benefits to feeding a fresh home prepared diet, we gave it a shot.

We instantly saw the benefits. What was once an untouched bowl of kibble was now a bowl licked clean.

Remy's newfound happiness during mealtime sparked a fire within her mom (MJ). She delved into mastering the art of home-prepared cooking to ensure Remy's food was not only delicious but also nutritionally balanced. MJ pursued education in Canine Nutrition, attending the Companion Animal Science Institute, and became dedicated to staying informed about all things related to dogs and nutrition.
